We are grateful for the horse world!

Have you recently taken a few minutes and thought what a blessing it is to be able to immerse ourselves into the horse world? How thankful we are for the opportunities that we’ve created that allow us to continue to enjoy our horses each day, or even to have enjoyed a horse in the past. Horses are special animals that if you’ve ever had the privilege of spending time making a connection with one or going out and accomplishing your goals that you previously set, then you know how special it is! At Pearson Equine we know the commitment and effort it takes behind the scenes that take us to where we’ve gotten to, and we have also learned that the path with horses is best traveled taking advantage of quality resources. This has definitely been our experience!

While working with horses by ourselves, we can be self taught and the experience entirely natural but sometimes that dosn’t seem to be the case. Have you noticed that at all? Sometimes we become stuck in our ways creating habits that we may no be aware we are creating and if we just had someone out there to ask the right question our struggle would be over. Now don’t worry we’ve all been there at some point. But with quality resources available we can quickly overcome our obstacles, and for those we have been incredibly grateful!

While dealing with quality horses that present natural abilities can make life a whole lot easier we have found in our experience that it isn’t the horses that is the best part about living this horse life. We have found that what makes the difference in the horse world is the people….that’s right it is the people and for those people we are grateful. Studying horsemanship and quality riding is a progression that has its challenges, no doubt. But when you have the right people to look up to, challenge your process, and push you forward it is so pleasant. Here at Pearson Equine we have been fortunate to have so many of the right people in our life that has helped us maintain our presence in the equine industry.

By now are you wondering who we are grateful for? Well this is one complex question but let’s do our best to express our gratitude and appreciation for this industry we love so much. We are grateful for all of the people that make this life possible! Have you ever noticed how many great people it takes for this industry to work? It’s fascinating, and if your reading this blog article I bet you are either part of it or desiring to be!

At Pearson Equine we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for those who taught us! So a big thank you to our friends and family who exposed us to a life with horses at a very young age and taught us what they knew to get us up in the saddle and riding, business mentors who showed us the basics and technical side of running a good business that would generate happy and repeating customers, those who helped us behind the scenes create and maintain our website, professionals that we met out riding or competing such as marketing geniuses, attorneys, realtors that specialize in horse farms, lenders that believe in the horse industry, coaches, facilities owners and managers, authors who create quality tools for learning, equine insurance brokers/agents, I mean if you can think of a place where we haven’t found the exact person to utilize in the horse industry to start and grow our business, we have found them.

Our gratitude dosn’t stop with the people behind the scenes, it continues to the people who have thrown themselves out there with a motive that is so simple. What do you think the motive is? We truly believe that those out there that put forth all the effort in the horse industry is well…..it is to help others. While some may think it’s about capitalism, the time and effort that drives these people forward is about passion. Passion for an industry that has been iconic since the beginning of of time. And while everyone is business needs to generate enough funds to continue forward, it’s quite something how much these people have helped us. We are grateful for people in the industry such Craig Cameron who changed our demeanor as we got started, John Lyons who wrote a series of books that not only have we utilized some of the concepts in the beginning but we were able to gift them to others, Clinton Anderson who sometimes can be little rough around the edges but he gives so much information for people to both operating a successful business and training horses, Al Dunning for his quality books and content of social media that is both stimulating and challenges us to keep training interesting, Steve Ross for the webinars and zoom meetings about how we can improve our business, the master of dressage Vitor Silva who humbly will always refer to himself as a student of the horse and demonstrates his pilosophy that love and kindness towards riding and training is key, we are also grateful for our friend and Grand Prix dressage trainer Barb Whitess who each year flies from Tuscan to Ocala each year to keep moving forward.

While all the people we have mentioned previously that we are grateful for you’d think that might be it. But are also grateful for our clients both past and current. You are all people that believe and trust in other people, people that are putting in the time and effort to make the horse world a better place and your efforts do no go unnoticed and your business is appreciated! Thank you to those who utilize our services, have trusted us with your horses, who like, follow, and share our social media, those who have left us quality reviews, sent us referals, etc. Your support is appreciated!

Are you feeling grateful for those in your horse world today? We bet you are too! While we are always excited to ride and work with the next horse, the relationships and people we get to meet and utilize for resouces along the way have made all the difference. If we missed anyone in our expression gratitude for the horse world do know that you have been a big part of us developing our programs. For everyone else, the horse world is a beaufiul place and you are always welcome to join us!
